Aimee Orchel is a Southampton based photographer with a focus on building a portfolio across the board.
Her photography interest started by following in her father’s footsteps, taking photos on family travels. In 2011, purchasing a Nikon D5100 allowed Aimee to expand her interests in photography. Globe trotting from Poland to Canada, North America to Tanzania, a camera is always attached to this photographer.
In her first year studying Chemistry at University of Southampton, she joined the Southampton University Photographic Society. Aimee was elected onto the committee as the Event Coordinator. Aimee is responsible for running SUPS Events, providing event photography services to the University of Southampton, Students’ Union, and local businesses. She also contributes towards photography lectures, workshops, and events for the society.
Aside from managing her studies and photography, Aimee is passionate about chemical education, along with promoting physical and mental health well-being. She also crafts amigurumi animals.
